i think well use him mostly for blocking, which we could really use

Don't count out seeing a few 2 Tight End sets under Carroll and Bates.

Baker is a good pickup and an instant improvement over Owens.

Hawk096 Brian Macintyre wrote a nice post about the double TE sets and Bates stating that last year when Bates was calling the plays he used the 2 TE set 25% of the time.

Did he? I haven't read it or heard of it. I know Bates had said that before and that's what made me think of the possible 2 TE sets.
