Glad you brought up big red, but also Alan Branch and Brandon Mebane in the middle of that D-line are going to be very tough to run against especially early on. That coupled with the fact that the 49ers looked just as bad as we did during the preseason give me hope that we can beat the 9ers to open the season for the second straight year... Assuming our O-line can actually block well enough for us to move the ball. They looked good against Oakland.

Like most people I don't think this is going to be a good team this year, but I think we have a good chance at stealing a rare road victory here.

Thanks Chief! I'm glad you bought up Branch! I always thought he was in a bad situation in AZ.. He should really shine in the 4-3!

He should give Mebane a chance to shine as more of a pass rushing DT too.

Thought he was pretty on for the position match ups. Though I think we have the edge at WR spot, TE is a push.
And wont Curry be lined up strong side (TE) so will cover Davis?
