Kind of surprising news. Didn't know there were any talks to get him resigned. I do like how the front office is locking up our core players before they hit FA.

The deal apparently makes him one of the highest paid centers in the league... Seems like a bit of a leap of faith considering he's been a little injury prone.

Was a suprise to me too. But I really like it, I dont mind overpaying on some guys that have leadership qualities. Also Ive seen Unger absolutely maul guys, and he plays through the whistle.
