INDIANAPOLIS – Jake Locker continues to make the most of his NFL scouting combine experience.
The University of Washington quarterback ran the 40-yard dash in an unofficial 4.52 seconds this morning at Lucas Oil Stadium, which will rank as one of the fastest times in combine history if it holds up when the official times come out. Even if it doesn’t, Locker was fast enough – and faster than most.
He also scored well during his interviews with the teams.
“The kid was extremely impressive, just as we expected,” one scout for an AFC team said.
Next up for Locker is his Pro Day workout at the UW on March 30.
