Patrick Kerney Retires

Patrick Kerney will retire from the NFL after an 11-year career.
Kerney's decision has not been formally announced yet, but was reported by the league's official Web site.

Kerney, 33, came to Seattle in 2007, and was selected as a Pro Bowl starter that first season in town when he had 14.5 sacks.

Kerney led Seattle with five sacks last season.

Looks like the Seahawks will be drafting a DE.

Think this is good for the Hawks... he hasn't been healthy since 2007, and has been playing hurt, hence not playing at a 100%.

Now if only Big Walt would be an adult, quit pulling a Favre and retire already, so we can have closure and move on.

Definitely DE with one of our first round picks!

Okung at #6, and Morgan at #14. Would be so damn sick!
