The only head coach in the NFL with his own Internet TV show, none other than Pete Carroll interviews newly acquired players QB Tarvaris Jackson and wide receiver Sidney Rice.
Carroll's approach is like none other, and the grand experiment is simple: Will creating a college environment make NFL players and an NFL team play better?
Can he make showing up for practice fun?
Many coaches fear letting it lose will cause players to lose focus. Not Pete Carroll.
Sunday night, the team broke practice and played home run derby.

Caroll is everyone, TV, radio, Twitter, so in this column we'll take a look at everything he's had to say about the Seahawks camp to date.
-Left tackle Russell Okung is expected to be out at least the rest of the preseason with a left ankle sprain he suffered in the first quarter of Thurday's game.
It's possible he could be out even for the season opener Sept. 11 in San Fran. Tyler Polumbus will fill in while he is out. Carroll is optimistic Okung will be back by the opener.
Caroll says "Russell’s not nearly as bad as it looked. “He’s walking around fine. He’s not in a boot. We’re not talking about how long yet, but it’s nothing like the ones he’s had.
“And so I don’t know if we can call it mild or not, but he was out walking around. And he’s moving, and doing the toe raises and stuff. So he’s way more active than he was at any time early in the other ankle injuries that he had. We’re feeling pretty positive that something’s going to come out, and within the next couple weeks we’ll be in pretty good shape.”
-Last week Carroll was on XX Sports Radio in San Diego where he discussed his overall vision for the Seahawks
"It is different. We’re starting at such a different point than we did a year ago when they won nine games in two years and everybody was wondering what was going to happen. Now, just kind of the language that we use, the approach and the style and the way we practice, the message just gets carried so much faster. … It’s really been fun. It’s just a different atmosphere. We’re trying to make normal being a division champion and make normal being a playoff team and make normal the focus on championships.”
“We really did have a plan, even going all the way back to the draft … that was all part of rebuilding this thing and structuring it around an aggressive thought of running the football, being tough up front, utilizing Tom’s background and his influence. Every step of the way we’ve really had a big plan. The fact that nobody sees it, that’s OK with us."
-Carroll's plan to at tight end is working out great, Zach Miller is obviously a great target but good things are happening with John Carlson who conceivably lost his job to Miller but could get action in two-tight end sets.
Carroll says "It really feels strong now. With Zach coming in, John Carlson has really answered the call. I mean John is competing like crazy."
