Seattle to D.C., D.C. to Seattle, Seattle to Atlanta. Over 6,000 miles in a week.

Seriously, that can affect anybody, no matter how good you are. Can someone tell me why the Hawks couldn't just go from D.C. to Atlanta? Surely there are practice facilities available. They'd be adjusted to the time zone, no jet lag, more TIME to focus and prep.

It can't just be a family thing, is it? Musicians, actors and soldiers leave their families for weeks (or months) at a time without affecting performance.

Jim Harbaugh did that last season and again this season. It was a great idea, IMO.

Why don't the Seahawks do that as well? I was wondering the same thing this weekend, if they would do it. I am wondering if personal conflicts are overriding common sense. Seems hard to believe, but, really, what legitimate reason is there for not doing it?

Sounds more like superstition than logic, I guess. But I hope we get a shorter flight to SF at least!

I'm starting to think SF isn't going to get past the Pack but I'd much rather play at the Stick then Lambo. Could be some nasty weather in GB this time of year.

I saw a photo of Tate with SA down in Florida for National Championship game ? He added another cross country flight on top of it all ?

I.thought they'd stay on the east coast for sure. I know the travel affected 1st quarter performance against WA. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I think starting at 10:00 a.m. (our time) will affect them more the jet lag/travel.
Seriously its a 3-4 hour flight is all, and they usually leave friday.

Having made similar flights, I can say that it has a noticeable effect--especially doing three in a week. On the good side, we're not playing in Denver! ;) At least we ain't Baltimore.
