Safeco Field fences coming in.

The hand operated scoreboard will be moved out of play so the fences will be 8 feet tall all the way around. The Left-Center field power alley is being significantly shortened. Safeco should play a little more netural, and should no longer be death to right handed hitters.

So let's say we end up getting a bunch more wins. Those seem like kind of "manufactured" (and I hate the use of that word in the sports world) wins.

No, not really. The park will look much more, for lack of a better word, standardized. And it affects opponents the same way it affects the Mariners.

The park played too big, this was necessary. It should still be pitcher friendly, just not to the extent that it was.

See, this is exactly why Flynn is better than Russell Wilson.
I'll just go ahead and lol at this. Haha.

I think the interesting thing will be if someone tracks what would balls fall into what would be inside the fences today.

Lol apparently. A lot of people think there's a psychological aspect to it. A few of the players basically said "THANK GOD" when they heard about it. Felix had an awesome quote he said moving the fences in won't matter to him because "when I pitch you're going to be out."
