As for the scheduling, It is a really interesting point that there are five 10am games and I would like to see some research into how much that affects teams and if it creates a competitive disadvantage for the West coast teams.
Just a hunch, but I'm betting it does. Didn't they change the late start games on the West Coast for the Pat's a few years ago after they complained about them?
