I like it...now that he's paid he needs to stall on all the respect rants.

In sports getting paid equals respect...now play your ass off.

Listen to his presser. Him getting paid won't change the fact that 28 other receivers were taken before him. Won't change the fact that he went undrafted. Won't change the fact that idiots like Chris Carter call him "pedestrian". DB will always have that edge. You want him to.

I thought his contract was a little bit rich, but It sounds like he's going to play outside some which usually goes along with playing up against #1 CB's so obviously PC/JS have faith in his ability.

There's one thing for sure, the guy is clutch.

There's one thing for sure, the guy is clutch.
Dude Sherm, Earl and Bennet were all inked to huge deals and they still had money to compensate Baldwin. It's not a deal that breaks the bank but Doug seems happy enough with the deal. In Pete and John we trust.
