As expected the Seahawks offense struggled for most of Sunday's 33-17 loss in San Francisco. It's not a heartbreaker that Tarvaris Jackson didn't have much time to get rid of the ball and took five sacks.

It was well known coming in that the right side of the o-line would struggle, especially with Robert Gallery sitting out with a knee injury.

It's disheartening too see Marshawn Lynch have no room to run and totaled just 33 yards on only 13 carries.

But for Ted Ginn Jr. to return a punt and kick off for touchdown's in a matter of minutes is a nightmare. That's a serious special teams issue and a worst-case scenario come true.

Rookie Doug Baldwin's 55-yard touchdown score brought the Seahawks to within 2 points with four minutes to go. Then Ginn unleashed a 102-touchdown return to put the 49ers up nine points.

The game is almost out of reach but not exactly over.

On the ensuing drive, Tarvaris Jackson has two incompletions and took a sack. Next thing you know the Seahawks are punting to Ginn, for some reason, and again he scores six.

Game over.

You don't kick to Ted Ginn Jr.

It's hard to pin this one on Jackson. He didn't play great but he gave the Seahawks a chance to win. He went 21-for-37 with two touchdowns and an interception as well as two fumbles lost. He finished with a QB rating of 78.3. He was sacked five times.

If Seattle can contain Ginn it's anyone's game and the 2011 season starts out a whole lot differently both in terms of the win/loss column and in terms of overall morale.
