Alex Smith re-signed in San Francisco this year for $4 million on a one-year contract. It’s safe to say he’ll earn more next year. Smith is a free agent, but he clearly has more value to the 49ers than any other team. He could get offers elsewhere, but we suspect the 49ers probably won’t let…
