The All-Pro team was announced today, and the Seahawks were not represented. Not a surprising development since they had no players voted to the Pro Bowl, either.
But the Seahawks did face nine players who were given All-Pro honors, and several of them had All-Pro performances against the Seahawks:
RB Jamaal Charles, Chiefs – He ran for 173 yards on 22 carries in the Week 12 game at Qwest Field, including a 3-yard TD.
WR Roddy White, Falcons – He caught seven passes for 65 yards in the Week 15 game at Qwest, including a 5-yard TD.
OG Jahri Evans, Saints – He helped pave the way for Chris Ivory’s 99-yard rushing performance in Week 11 game in New Orleans, including a 1-yard scoring run.
KR Devin Hester, Bears – He broke an 89-yard punt return for the touchdown in the Week 6 game in Chicago.
DE Julius Peppers, Bears – He had only two tackles and no sacks in that same Week 6 game, when rookie left tackle Russell Okung did a good job against one of the best pass-rushers in the league.
DE John Abraham, Falcons – He had four tackles and a sack in the Week 15 game at Qwest.
ILB Patrick Willis, 49ers – He had 17 tackles against the Seahawks; 10 in the season opener at Qwest and seven in the Week 14 game at Qwest.
CB Nnamdi Asomugha, Raiders – He had one pass defensed before leaving the Week 8 game in Oakland with a sprained ankle that sidelined him for the next two games.
P Shane Lechler, Raiders – He averaged 54.6 yards on five punts in the Week 8 game.
