A look at the memorable – and not-so-memorable – moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Dec. 7:
1980: Steve Largent catches eight passes for 139 yards and a touchdown, but Billy Taylor scores on a 30-yard run to cap a 14-point fourth quarter as the Giants post a 27-21 victory at the Kingdome.
1997: Jermaine Lewis returns punts 89 and 66 yards for touchdowns and adds a 29-yard TD catch as the Ravens score the final 14 points in taking a 31-24 victory over the Seahawks at old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. Chad Brown returns a fumble 42 yards for a TD, but gets a concussion that sidelines him for the next game.
2003: Randy Moss scores on touchdown passes of 47 and 45 yards from Daunte Culpepper in the Vikings’ 34-7 victory at the Metrodome. Shaun Alexander runs 1 yard for the Seahawks’ only score.
2008: Seneca Wallace throws three touchdown passes and also leads the Seahawks with 47 rushing yards, but Sammy Morris scores on a 1-yard run with 2:44 left to play to give the Matt Cassel-led Patriots a 24-21 victory in Seattle.
