More than 1,100 readers have responded, but settled nothing.
In the great debate over whether Steve Largent or Walter Jones is the greatest player in Seahawks’ history, the voting remains all but deadlocked. As of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Largent had received 564 votes and Jones 561.
That’s just too close to call. So, let’s keep it going. You can cast your vote here, and also get the lowdown on Largent, the Hall of Fame wide receiver who was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection from 1976-89; and Jones, the Hall of Fame in-waiting left tackle who was a nine-time Pro Bowl pick from 1997-2009.
Is it Largent, and all those catches for all those yards and all those touchdowns? Or is it Jones, and all those blocks to help Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck set all those club records?
