TOTT was sitting on the beach this week and mailed it in....He told me his system only works when Matthew Hasselbeck is under Center and when QBs are named after brands of crushed apples it doesn't always work...

TOTT, between Margaritas, took the time to compare the cities and here's what came out....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, it's Indiananoplace this week...Home of a racetrack, warehouses, truckstops, and Peyton Mannin' who would fit well working at all of the aforementioned sites...

Apple Sauce is starting so that kinda puts a hex on the whole thing....Cheers!

Population:
Seattle: 3,344,813 (14th)
Indianapolis: 1,774,665 (22nd)

Winner: Seattle, funny that at one time Jeff Smulyan wanted to move the Mariners to this "thriving" burg to play in that Metrosexual Dome wannabe named after the company who's logo was a dog barking into a phonograph...

Name:
Seattle: Named after a local Duwamish chief named Sealth. His grave on Bainbridge Island looks at his namesake city.
Indianapolis: Named for Indiana adding the Greek word "polis" meaning--city....

Winner: Seattle, really "original" Indy....

Nickname:
Seattle: Emerald City
Indianapolis: Indy

Winner: Seattle, man TOTT is already bored of Indy just writing about it!

Winner: Seattle, according to local websites their "nickname" and "slang name" are the same....Wow....

Sports Teams:
Seattle: Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders
Indianapolis: Colts, Pacers

Winner: Seattle, one was jacked from Baltimore and the other was an ABA team...

Sports Teams Lost:
Seattle: 2-Supersonics, Pilots
Indianapolis: Hoosiers (National League, folded 1889), Blues (National League, folded after one season, 1878), Hoosiers (Federal League 1914-15, folded)

Winner: Seattle, My oh My Indy sure has been successful in Major League Baseball haven't they?

Championships:
Seattle: 2-Mets won 1917 Stanley Cup, Supersonics won 1979 NBA FInals
Indianapolis: 1 Colts won Superbowl XLI

Winner: Seattle, thought without Jordan in the '90s both cities would've had more...

Notable Landmarks:
Seattle: Space Needle, SAFECO Field, Smith Tower
Indianapolis: Brickyard, Lucas Oil Stadium, War Memorial

Winner: Seattle, yawn....

Beer:
Seattle: Pyramid, Redhook, Hale's Ales
Indianapolis: Sun King

Winner: Seattle, does Indy have ANY culture?

People:
Seattle: Kurt Cobain, Erika Christensen, Judy Collins, Richard Karn, Stacie Orrico

GO HAWKS!

If Seattle is so great why is your basketball team in Oklahoma?? The picture of Hasselback holding the Peytons Lombardi is as close as he will ever get to one...

"We want the ball, and were gonna score" How did that work out for him again??

Peyton's Lombardi?

Uh....It's actually the trophy from Superbowl XL...You know that game, the one the Colts couldn't even get to?

How's Indy's MLB team? Oh...Wait, you don't have one....Who gives a shit about the NBA anyways? It's a piss poor league for pissant towns like Portland, NoKC, Sactown, Memphis, Indiananoplace..

Yep...What an exclusive "club" you are in....Besides...Aren't the Pacers moving to Vancouver?       Or even...Dread....Seattle?    Read up on it....Your about to lose your NBA team....Congrats on being a "one horse town" (pun intended)..

What does Peyton "dominate" btw? Playoff chokes? Because last time I looked "the greatest QB in the NFL" makes less than his inbred uncle/brother and has less rings than the guy who OWNS Indy in Tom Brady...

Maybe after this year you can get Starvin' Marvin back to coach...Click click click Peyton click click...

Never said "Seattle was so great"....Just laughing that every week we do these and they are usually close....Sometimes we lose....Yet, I could find NOTHING exciting about Indy...Shit, you live in the most boring place on Earth...Congrats! At least you got that goin' for ya!

I could care less about the Pacers. They have been an embarrasment to the city on and off the court for years. A team full of thugs who haven't a clue on how to play team basketball.

OBTW.. Peyton makes more $$$ and has more rings than Farves backup who is behind center for your team... Nice Arena league uni's they broke out last week...

Riiiiiiggggghhtt!

Apple Sauce was Fav-ray's backup? I did not know that? "RINGS" meaning: plural....He has one which ties him with the greats such as Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Jeff Hosettler, Mark Rypien, Doug Williams, and E---lieh...

In college he was a bitch who couldn't win the big one...Much like in the Superbowl where he handed the ball off so well he won MVP...

Nice Arena league uni's they broke out last week...

Really? Because most of us hated them....

I do love your little site's borderline homosexual obsession with Brady though....Must suck to know you have the king of advertising as your QB while the dude with all the rings sits back in the offseason banging supermodels and preparing to own you in the playoffs for like the 1,000th time...

Tell Jared to lay off the sandwiches and let Dungy have one....Lord knows that Somali pirate looking skelton could use a calorie or two mixed in with the mud and sewer/drinking water diet he's on...

One is more than Zero.. "Zero" meaning nothing: a quantity of no importance. The amount of Championships the Seahawks have.

Also the number of people who choose to live in Indiananoplace....Most of you are there due to inbreeding, poverty, and doctors orders to "lose the stress of everyday living"...

Indy has a larger population than Seattle. Who wants to live in the rain 90 % of the time?

Indy has a a larger population than Seattle.

According to who? Nielson has you listed as the 22nd largest market in the USA....I know in Indy they have lower edumicational "standards" but 14 in this case is higher than 22...I can see how being from Indy you'd think 22 was a higher number than 14 but in this case it's not...

Ok... Im not sure if you know there is a difference between a television market and a cities population... Hint... There is ...

Yeah, there is....There is also area in terms of large cities but just because Juneau, Alaska is America's Largest City doesn't mean it really is...

Indy has more people than Seattle....So what? Does anyone outside of the USA (well most of it anyway) even know it exists?

It's a sorry ass town with sorry ass people living sorry ass lives...It's basically a step up from Buffalo and a step down from Cleveland.....Irsay really had to have been a drunk sorry son of a bitch to decide that Indy was a "prime spot" to place an NFL team...Proves you shouldn't sign papers after taking painkillers or drinking alcohol....

You are basically Fresno of the Midwest...Thanks for the laugh list though....Funny to see such "mecca's" as Fort Worthless listed so high....

Thank you for admitting you were wrong..

Anyway, how does a Billionaire like Paul Allen fail so miserably at running an NFL team? I mean you got lucky and were banished from the AFC... It seems like they would be more relevent than they are.

Winning an NFC Championship is "failing"...

As for being "banished"...I know you are from the place where you stole an existing team and all so you don't know history prior to when Peyton came to town (blackouts from 1987-98 prove it) but "your" (Baltimore's) team was once kicked out of the NFC...Where you've failed in the AFC since Blunderbowl V...

I didnt steal anything. Bob Irsay took his team to a new city because the people of Baltimore were no longer going to the games. Same as many other teams have done. Anyway, you are lucky they the Seahawks to the NFC. They would not be competive in the AFC.

Kurt Cobain...didn't he blow his brains out the back of his head because he was too much of a pussy to deal with his life? Or was it because of all the rain in Seattle? Indy may be boring, but Seattle is just depressing. How many Prozac a day are you all taking?

Ah, yes...Starbucks. The company that single-handedly turned the working man's morning drink of choice into the the refried bitch-drink of tools alike. Are you seriously proud that it is the place of choice for conforming non-conformists and brainless bimbos alike? Not to mention the unquestionable desire to have one on every street corner, or is it because Seattlites are just that lazy?

I'll let you in on a little secret. Hasselbeck never gets to actually hold up the Lombardi and the end of Superbowl XL. It looks like the press images is as close as he will get to it.

Second that 18....At least our shit is original and funny...

XL
Cobain
Suicide-----Though Tony Dungy's "thug" son knows a thing or two about that...Except Cobain took a man's way out rather than Jimmy D who hung himself in the closet (where he might have been hiding according to rumors) like a pressed suit....
Starbucks

Any more "Seattle smack" you have?

Maybe Jimmy Dungy was doing the INXS method and was trying to get himself off? Could be....Fucking douchebags...

HMMM...Not much "auta" racin' comments in there dumbass...

Go hang yourself...Maybe your daddy will get a month off of work like Tony did... Then when he chokes at his job a month later he can blame his jackoff son's death on it....Just like Tony did...Hey! I know! Then he could write a book about being a "good father" and visit people who kill dogs in order to get erections...Just like Tony did!

Congrats on being the city that had to STEAL a team in the middle of the night by making a deal with a guy who's alcohol level rivaled Billy Martin....Nothing like being a 4th choice in a middle of the night highjacking...Then again...That's how most of Indy's youth's parents met...4th choice at closing time...
