The NFL players have voted, and the playing surface at Qwest Field ranks No. 4 among the stadiums in the league with artificial turf.
The NFL Players Association surveys the players every other year, and this year’s results were announced today in Dallas, where the Steelers and Packers are preparing to play in Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV.
Ranking ahead of Qwest Field in the survey were Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the new Giants/Jets stadium in the Meadowlands and the Superdome in New Orleans.
The Seahawks also played this season on the grass fields ranked 1-2 in the survey: University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Full survey results, complements of ESPN.com blogger Pat Yasinskas, are available here.
