Did you get out to vote?

Rich guy A promises to fix everything, Rich guy B - dito.

This country is fucked by our political process. For the people, by the people... Right.

Hate to think what it is going to be like for my kids.

you get what you pay for.

usually less than 50% of people of voting age actually vote and the majority of those are totally ignorant to anything but the mostly untrue talking points of their particular party.

you can blame it on the government or the political process all you want but everything wrong in this country is our doing. people in this country love to tell the rest of the world how great and wonderful it is while it rots from within because the majority of people don't have the time, motivation or plain just don't care enough to practice the one thing that makes us able to fix our problems.

maybe if everyone's kids realize this then things will change, but if we raise our kids to be like us, most likely they wont be

Congratulations USA! For not letting the complete freak show that Romney-Ryan is ruin your country. Politics should aim at making society better for people, not just for corporations.

Please tell me how much better you Nordic ultra-liberals are. Your system breeds the next coming of Hitler ( see: Anders Breivik ), then put them up in a plush 4 star IKEA-built prisons (Google Norwegian prisons).

You want to come on here and talk sports, you're welcome to do so. But stay out of something that doesn't concern you.

We use to have a rule here about religion and politics and there was a reason for it . I don't care to hear anyone's opinions about either .

Exactly! And this fucker has chimed in on both. He's made several anti-God remarks in the past.

True enough, sadly though nothing short of a massive catastophic event is going to change anything.

Quick quesiton - When an election can be swung by litinos should we still call it the United States? Interesting timing on allowing minor illegals to become citizens don't you think :whistling:.

The only things that will ever change in this country are things that negativly effect the pocket books of the rich. meantime, they will continue to create more ways of sweeping the problems under the bulging rugs and closets.

Try to form any militias lately? Might as well cuff yourself. How about fix an unjustice? We are all just trying to survive. But go ahead and write your congressman, that'll help.

To me religion is a private matter. Anti-god... Nice way to write an opinion for me and attack it...

And do tell what brought you to the conclusion that Romney-Ryan are a "complete freak show".

Well that was a bit unfair. Atleast they are not the tea party.

Please tell me how much better you Nordic ultra-liberals are. Your system breeds the next coming of Hitler ( see: Anders Breivik ), then put them up in a plush 4 star IKEA-built prisons (Google Norwegian prisons).

Oh yeah, that seems fair since the US system never breeds serial killers... US politics concern the whole world since it is the only super power. The US originated Subprime crisis for example cost a lot of jobs here as well, and then again your growth always helps our export a lot too. So wishing you do well is kind of in our interests.

But I´m not going to make a retard of myself by arguing politics and religion in the internet, so you are free to keep that role to yourself. I just wanted to congratulate your nation.

Sorry if I got on your tits. I´m off.

Well i understand not wanting to talk politics on here which is why i try to keep it broad and not indict and one group.

But sprhawk to answer your question, Yes, that is exactly what makes it the United States. No one had any problem calling it the United States when every single election in the history of the country except the last 2 was swung by white men over 35. And it wasn't just Latinos, it was women, Asian, blacks and young voters. So yes the fact that someone other than white men are now having a say as to who runs this country i say way to go America.

I wasn't born in this country. but unlike an Hispanic or Asian my parents were Australian and English and i was moved here as a small child. So although i wasn't born in this country i look and walk and talk like a good old boy. i don't know if that makes me lucky but i was certainly never discriminated against. And yes i am a citizen now and am registered to vote so i can comment on these things

In theory you are right. It becomes an issue when some people vote for him because of his skin color or because he wont deport their illegal imigrant relatives. In 2008, there was a 5 million increase in voters from 2004. Around 2 million black voters, 2 million Hispanic voters and around 600,000 Asians that hadn't voted before. I'm sure there were some people that voted for the other guy because of the race thing. Either way, its an issue imo and shouldn't play a role in who are president is. Sadly it does.
