Have I voted for Whitehurst lately? I don't think so, I will bump my vote up a bit. :)

With hasselbeck running the show we will never be a better than 8-8 team regardless of our OL.

Alexander made him look better than what he was.

With all due respect. You're a fucking retard.

Hass is a solid veteran and is in no danger of being benched. Remember, this is his third offense in three years, and the coaching staff and wide receivers are learning him as much as he is learning them. We have a bunch of first year guys all around (Carlson is the veteran now?) Hass and the line is swiss cheese. Like baking, we need to give it time.

There were tough years (03 and 04) before they finally put it all together in 05. Don't forget some of the strange games we had that season either, like the Giants missing 3 chip shot field goals to lose in OT. I think it is positive that we've won 2 home games early in the year while we're just figuring stuff out and responding to the other teams. After the bye, we will see what the season has in store.

Either PC and JS made the right moves everywhere: Lynch and Forsett will run for big yards, Hass will pass effeceintly, Williams and the rooks will catch, Okung and co. will block, and the D will be stout. We'll win games we should and maybe steal a couple we shouldn't.

If you think about it, we're pretty lucky to have beaten San Diego, so things could be a lot worse... We could have Favre's record.

No one is "running down" Dave. At least I wasn't. I loved the guy. But he was the epitome of inconsistent, a perfect example of Jekyll and Hyde. He once held 4th place all-time for QB passing, yet also held the record for most fumbles. He could practically single-handedly win a game as easily as lose one, and that is what Matt has been, at least from what I've seen.

I just prefer to have my roller coasters in amusement parks, not stadiums. :icon_wink:

Dave Krieg is the man. Sacked 7 times in one game by Derrick Thomas, still won the game with a last second deep middle cross to Skansi. [From Wikipedia: Derrick Thomas still holds the single game record of 7 quarterback sacks, a feat which occurred against [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_Seahawks"]Seattle Seahawks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Seattle_Seahawks_helmet_rightface.png" class="image" title="Seattle Seahawks helmet"><img alt="Seattle Seahawks helmet" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/74/Seattle_Seahawks_helmet_rightface.png/135px-Seattle_Seahawks_helmet_rightface.png"@@AMEPARAM@@en/thumb/7/74/Seattle_Seahawks_helmet_rightface.png/135px-Seattle_Seahawks_helmet_rightface.png[/ame]'s [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Krieg"]Dave Krieg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] on [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veterans_Day"]Veterans Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Veterans_day.jpg" class="image" title="Veterans Day"><img alt="Veterans Day" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f7/Veterans_day.jpg/225px-Veterans_day.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/f/f7/Veterans_day.jpg/225px-Veterans_day.jpg[/ame] 1990 (in a 17-16 loss).] By the way, on that final TD pass to Skansi, Krieg eluded Thomas.

The MAN!

IMO should have been elevated to the Hall upon his initial eligibility (a lot of the reasons he is only 10th on these lists are the modern high-octane passing attacks). I hope one day his accomplishments are recognized and he is finally honored.

Whitehurst is a solid backup and nothing more. If he replaces Hasselbeck you might as well pack it in for the season and watch Glee.

You forgot all-time record for fumbles! And couldn't even get Largent a TD (or any score) in his last game (at home vs. Washington). Gotta take the bad with the good.

And btw, I saw that KC last-second play on TV back in Detroit! One of the all-time greatest wins EVER, of any team! Thomas and Krieg were a great matchup.
