Lets live in the NOW
The Now is Oregon is a school in a state full of people who don't know how to pump gas (Gasology 101 is a Major at U of O) and a school full of longhaired unwashed hippies who think running is somehow a sport...
The most famous GasPumper was a dude who ran in a circle, died because he drove drunk, and had two shitty movies made about him....That they filmed in Seattle...

The only good thing to come out of Eugene is that funny ass logo of Donald Duck wanting to fight because he heard his Protest March was cancelled... :lol:
Now most U of Oh people wouldn't get violent over that...They'd go back to their dorms smoke some weed and gameplan for their next Hackey Sack Match or Frisbee Golf Game (both letter "sports" at U of Oh)....It's like the movie PCU in real life down there....

Joey Harrington is a product of being drafted high to a shitty team and being thrown into the starting position way too early. It killed his confidence and from that he never recovered...

But, don't get me wrong I am not huge on the guy. I didn't expect him to come out and be a pro bowler, but he could have been more successful if given proper time to learn the system.
And like I said live in the NOW in reference to the football program. Interestingly enough none of the points/arguments you made touched on the successful Oregon Football team and horrendous Huskie or Cougars teams.
I got to witness the one time Jake Locker will make 16 of 18 passes and put up good numbers in the whole season.... that was a couple weeks ago at the spring game.
Yeah put the guy up against the #2 defense of a 0-12 football team. I bet a bunch of special Olympians could've have put up 33 points on them.

Of course, at least UW has some sort of history to be proud about. The Ducks couldn't even win an outright Pac-10 Championship until 2001. Even the Cougars had won Pac-10 Championships before that.
