Uh oh! Pete just said Doug isn't traveling to Detroit. High ankle sprain. Damn! Maybe they can move Golden to the slot and split Braylon out opposite of Sidney. I think having two big body receivers would be a match up problem for Detroits DBs.

I don't know if Tate is a good enough route runner to play in the slot.
Going up against the teams #3 corner or LB, and playing with more sideline to sideline space. If he's not good enough of a route runner to play the slot, he sure as hell doesn't belong on the outside.

You have to be more precise with routes on the inside. On the outside, he can rely more on his athleticism, which is his strength.

Actually, we won at Detroit in 2006. 9-6. I remember that game VERY clearly. Brown kicked a FG as time expired to win it. I was living in NYC at the time, sporting my Alexander jersey and running the hell out of my mouth. I was so embarrassed. People flipped me a lot of shit. Just like they did when I went into ESPN Sports Zone in Times Square doing the same thing before the Bears spanked us a few weeks later... ugh.

I thought that was a home again vs them in '05? It's all starting to flow together for me. Cant believe its been 6 seasons since our magical season.

Nah, I remember that game against Chicago pretty well... I believe 5hat was SA's first game back from injury, and everyone expected that would be a huge boost to the offense... It wasn't.... Like ever.
