    Baldwin would not survive on the corners, Tate faired pretty well because is ability to go up and get a 50/50 ball. It's hard to compare the two because of the different skill sets, but bottom line you don't have to pay a slot guy as much as a split end. See disgruntled Wes Welker.

    I think Doug is clutch slot guy, and those guys always have a bit of chip on their shoulder.... Hopefully he's not holding out, he is a #3 or 4 guy on this team. I value you him close to what bobby engram was for Hasselhof, but we have Sidney, percy, and kearse. Thats a pretty damn good line up.

    This brings up a very interesting point.... If they have the cap space then they might stick it out with Sam one more year, see if he can pull his head out. But, they may have their eye on a QB in the draft... if they love say a Blake Broyles or Bridgewater, they might secretly be shopping him...

    I'm not a big fan or drafting TE in the first round, and we did retain Zach Miller so I think we are good there. Give me OT/OG or WR even if it is 'drafting for need.

    Great to read back on that. Truly we are passionate fans. We only want whats best, and whatever brings us the trophey! Reading through the post, there wasn't one person that was "Gung ho" for Pete, but I think he won us over pretty quick. The consensus too was he was upgrade over Mora.
