    Hopefully with them releasing the preseason schedule the negotiations start to get closer to that finish line! Have the draft in a couple weeks too! However, I am feeling a sense of false hope, and a major let down is right around the corner. :(

    Yes, the draft class for the NBA this year is going to be weak. Most of them are going to end up in the D-League. But no, I do not watch a lot of college basketball during the year. I am like most people who watch much more during the tournament.

    I was pretty happy with the tournament overall, but that championship game was just garbage. I still think the NCAA Tournament is the best "event" in college sports.

    NCAA takes forever to really get something done. But yeah, they will drag their feet when it comes to big money bowl games. (Hi Cam Newton) But as far as football and basketball is concerned in college, education comes second to these sports. Way to much $$$ involved.

    But I thought the real issue is that Tressel lied right to the NCAA? NCAA: "Do you know about XYZ?" Tressel: "Nope, I have no idea what you are talking about." Email: "Tressel our kids are getting money for selling stuff." (before season started) NCAA finds out about the email.

    Anyone hear an update on the Tressel situation? Still wondering if he is going to get fired or if the NCAA is going to impose a bigger penalty?
