2005: After more playoff disappointment there was a sense that this was going to be a make or break season for Coach Mike Holmgren, already stripped of his General Manager duties it was well known he was on the hot seat as the season began, as the Seahawks had not won a playoff game in over 20...
i agree 100%... the play-calls last week where not in Wilson advantage, in the preseason they let him play his game and he won, i think we do a heavy amount of runs with short passes to move the ball and keep the defense guessing, instead of having 3-10 each time.. also our defense needs to...
I think both the WR and QB will be a little more calm in Sunday's game against Dallas.. With all the hype from preseason, i think we were just a little to confident and need to get back to basic's and play to win..
I take this as a positive quote... saying Wilson is small and fast and will be hard for some players to take him down.. But we cant depend on his size or speed, we need our O-LINE to give him time to look down field and we need our WR to step up there game....
ok besides RGIII lets take a look at all the other QB's:
LUCK=51 cmp% 1TD, 3 INT, 1 FUm
TANNEHILL= 55.6 CMP % 0 TD 3 INT
WEEDEN = 34.3 CMP % 0 TD, 4 INT..
and our boy WILSON=62.5 CMP %, 1TD, 1 INT (hail mary) 153 yrds..
very true.. all in all, we played a good game, Arizona has one of the most powerful offense and defense, and we played to our ability's, however, we need to work on some things and prepare ourselves for Dallas..
lets not forget one thing.. If the 4 passes we threw were caught we would have won, and Wilson would be the hero.. So on that note, it was a TEAM loss, not a QB loss..
I'm just gonna add one point.. doesnt matter who was QB in yesterday game, the O-line did a horrible job stopping the blitz and pass rush.. Any QB in the league with that pressure would have played like shit.. If you dont get anytime to look down field and set up plays.. its gonna be hard to...
I think there were mistakes on offense,. defense, and special teams.. Wilson needs to learn the speed a little better, but our O line needs to give him more then 2 sec to look down field.. Our defense was NOT impressive at all till the 4th quarter... learn from our mistakes and move forward to...
