Cam Newton or Russell Wilson ?

So we are assumimg Wilson and Cam are both on the market. Let's be honest, even with the limited time in the NFL, Cam wouldn't have any trouble getting starting offers, I doubt any team would offer a starting position to Wilson, backup maybe. It would be fun to poll all NFL coaches on that...

Cam Newton or Russell Wilson ?

Well it matters, who is my Coach? But 6'5 - 245 Heisman winner. Hard to pick Willy over that alone.

Next 3 Games before Bye Week

Seems ex Seahawks are attempting to pave the way. Sadly I think we have a better chance of getting our first road win against the Lions since Burleson broke his leg. John Carlson has a concussion. AP had 153 vs the Cards so the run defense has to improve. Ponder seems to be regressing. The...

Did you catch that comment "It is invaluable to have a veteran QB that is unstopable on the final drive." Sure miss those days?

Have you seen willy take a direct snap and throw a quick pass ever? Flynn did it 3 times in a row the last time he played. Do you ever listen to sports analysts? They all say his height is limiting him. He went in the 3rd round because of his height. What needs to be proven is that he can...

He is a rookie, I guess I should give him a couple years to see if he grows any taller. Being limited is not good anyway you look at it.

Hello, NE defense sucks. Our record would be even better with a taller QB. But we can win when we face sorry defenses. Think we will ever see a Superbowl with that attitude? Damn starting to sound like Coherd.

He is frickin short and will never be able to quickly move us down the field. Your all NFL fans, you know what I'm saying. We will ultimatly rely on a hail mary pass if we are even close enough to attempt it.

Last week Wilson played a good game against a weak secondary. That is the only game where he has put up enough points to win. I'd also be singing a different song if we had a QB that could use his TE's effectively.

I go back to what I said ealier, we have great TE's (McCoy & Miller) who catch 81%. If we could use them it would help. The WR's were catching 60% prior to this game.

If our defense sucked would Wison be the QB? We need points and to use quickouts and slants to move the ball. Desperate/complex plays are more likely to fail. The pressure is always on the D to make up for our lack of offense. Eventually something has to give.

Alright, I've seen enough. Can we see if Flynn can handle a good defensive opponent now? Clearly Wilson can't. Claim the WR if you like, give him another couple weeks until we face another sad defense so he can actually look good. 9 for 23, hell even smith can do better against the NFL's...

Wonder how much of the playbook Lockette provided?

Kam playing wiht sore ankle, Moffit is out (knee). Reserve DB/special teams Maxwell (hammy) out. SF Akers is sick, Smith (finger), Questionable Jacobs (knee), Manningham (shoulder) If it is a low scoring affair Akers illness could be huge. HEADACHE!!! I had no idea Ricardo Lockette signed...

Official gameday thread: Seahawks @ 49ers

I agree, it will be the same old story if they lose, the 9ers beat themselves (Seattle had nothing to do with it). I'm sure Seattle is the leader when it comes to the number of people who follow the NFL that are either against or impartial to the Seahawks. I've alsways felt that makes it a...

Keys to beating the 9ers (Unofficial Pre-Game Day Thread)

I hear that. We are waisting the talents of our TE's. The TE's are catching 81% of thier passes. Miller has caught 9 of 11 passes this season for 139 yards (15 per catch) McCoy caught 8 of 10 passes for 71. Where is McCoy by the way, nothing in the last 2? The WR's are 59 of 97 (61%)...

Keys to beating the 9ers (Unofficial Pre-Game Day Thread)

I agree Bob, the minors are going to be a challenge after that Giant whipping they got last week. Hopefully old Alex shows up. The momentum from the Pats win won't last long without the 12th man. If we were playing at Clink I think we would roll.

    Wilson's 2nd & 3rd Quarters

It's not as easy to stir up the QB conspiracy with Wilson tossing TD's. It is kind of funny, the media has convinced me that you can't win in the NFL without a Superstar QB. I bought in, it makes sense. But the fan in me wants it to be a team win. Superstar QB's compensate for thier teams...

    Holmgren to retire.

You have to hand it to Holmgren, he doesn't take the easy way. I really liked Holmgrens family style approach to coaching. He fit pretty well in the Pacific Northwest. I have to say it feels good being able to stand up to fans like Pats Nats. We have a history we can be proud of. And when...
