Your score of 8 is looking more & more like two different 3's stuck together back-to-back. One facing forward, and the other one facing backwards. Kind of like this team does. I'd like to share in your enthusiasm & your optimism!
In the words of the immortal comedian Gallagher, "Why do they...
That makes real good sense, as successfull teams have a tendency to move towards where the talent is in each draft.
If Aaron Curry had turned into the Cornelius Bennett type of linebacker we were told he'd be, we'd all be talking dynasty. Should have gone in a different direction that year.
Three!
Seahawks should have had a couple of advantages in special teams & playing at home, other than that these were two very evenly matched teams according to the data leading up to the game. Probably a good game to judge the coaching staff on.
Untimely penalties when it matters most...
I can't remember the last time I choose to do chores around the house instead of watching a Seahawks game on TV.
On second thought, yes, I can remember.....It was yesterday.
Hasselbeck: "We want the ball. We're gonna score!"
Jackson: "We want the ball. We're gonna get called for holding!"...
Konz is on the injured reserve squad according to their site again. Didn't he go from WR, to TE, to DE and now LB. Now that you mention it, looks like they did get to recover Lockette onto their practice squad. I'd like to see him run & catch some, as PC says "I want players that can do...
Yeah...attack Seattle's outside linebackers...that's an up Hill battle right there. Curry isn't on this team anymore.
Hawks should game plan the same way though. Make them defend the flats, and the edge pressure turns off quickly.
X-Factor for the Seahawks? My guess is Mebane & Company...
I've been thinking the same thing, and he just looks far more active at the position than Spencer was at the same point in his career.
Getting back to quarterbacks though, here's how I look at it:
Hasselbeck, good quarterback, 3ooo yards are so per season minimum, 3000 yrds/16 games = 187.5...
Well that's true as well Mr Bob (Don't I feel stupid)!
Carpenter's natural game is the left side of the line according to his collegiate history anyway. One luxury this team has never had is a full-time LG with enough talent that they can move to LT in a pinch and solidify the spot during a...
Jackson has been doing better, but I attribute that to his getting more game reps & the o-line having had more reps in real meaningfull games as well. His injury has had nothing to do with it (occuring vs NY Giants) as his best game came after the injury (vs Cinci Bengals two weeks later) if I'm...
Still believe we are one o-lineman away from a full house. Never have seen a bad QB behind a great offensive line. Carpenter could be a treat at LG if the right RT came along in the draft. Just one more possibility.
Sydney Rice looks to be the primary challenger: 100% completion rate, and a 55 yard average per toss. I don't believe Red bryant has dropped a pass all season either. PC is deliberately holding back on the throttle by playing Jackson, and I bet he does it again next year too.
I give a 5 score for the game (not like me I know). Defense looked very stoudt. Kudos to the o-line depth for not disintegrating. Still expecting more, but that was damned fun to watch!
Ok, I take it all back. Just found a copy of PC's game trategy that I will share with you (hope this works)!

I'm not targeting anybody or hating anybody or holding the coach accountable for injuries. Just saying that 16 points per game in this league is incredibly poor, and due to key injuries of late, it's unlikely that legendary sixteen point performance outburst of 2011 will continue. Lol...
