If you compare Lynch to SA, last year would have been Lynch's best.
At this point SA had 7,817 yds and 89 TD's
Lynch has 6,025 yds and 35 TD's
Not very impressed since most people don't even put SA in the top 10 RB's.
I expect we will have a rough learning season this year. I don't think we have much of a chance of making the playoffs unless SF does a complete 180 and falls on its face.

I don't...
Exactly my point, I luv a good defense but they don't need as much time to develop. The offense has to work as a unit, timing and choreography take time to develop.
If Flynn and Turbin were to take over I really believe that this year is the beginning of the real rebuild. We will have a couple of seasons of growing pains.
I really don't think Lynch should be a part of the progression of the team, he doesn't fit where we are at. In fact if it wasn't for...
Ricky was out in 2002, and after growing together for 2 seasons Hass, SA and Hutch had established thier timing and teamwork. Tatupu, Hill, Lewis, Darby, Dyson, Seattle's 2005 defense was disciplined and sure-handed. It felt like no tackle was ever missed. Tatupu famously was seen re-arranging...
Sure must be nice to be PC. I can't think of another Seattle Coach that wouldn't have been under fire for signing TO. "What he said, what he's done - I could care less about that.", complete disregard for how he is going to affect the locker room. Anyone remember Darrell Jackson, he was a nice...

It is good to see that PC is looking to make more W's than L's this season but is it realistic to think we will make the playoffs this season?
If things go perfectly, I think we can. But historically, it just doesn't...
Seattle currently has 40 players from last year.
We had 8 WR's (6 active, 2 practice), let's say we keep 8 again.
Obviously the Rookies (none were drafted) are at risk but I think Duck fans can speak for Tuinei, that would be a mistake. (say 2 go). 3 more, so who do we lose to keep TO...
Yeah I totally get that, but this desperate scramble for veteran WR's doesn't seem like what a team in rebuild mode should be doing. Seems like PC isn't drinking his own juice or hasn't bought into the plan (whatever that is).
53 players, for every washed up vet we have on the roster it will...
Not just the WR's, the entire team. It seems like nothing is decided. Nobody is sure where anyone is going to play or what string they belong to. I'm cool with competition but you need to form a unit and let it grow before you have a competition.
I'm starting to wonder if PC/JS even have a plan?
Are we still rebuilding or fine tuning for a Superbowl run?
I expected this to be year of growth, time for our new QB and Offense to learn to work together as a team. Building timing, consistancy, familiarity and communication.
Instead it's...
My respect for PC has dropped to a new low. This team is in its infancy why in the hell would we even be considering "Locker Room Destroyer"?
We've got a lot of promising young WR's so let's bring in TO so they can learn how to be as screwed up as him. Nice roll models. I think PC might lose...

Glad that Moon agree's, there is simply no benefit to this competition. They all have abilities but it's about growth right now.
That is impressive praise.
I guess the verdict is still out on rather Carp is a bust, I still can't decide if his pick or Irvins was more of a shock. I think putting him inside was a good move.
I was sure we were going after DeCastro in the draft but in hindsite I can't wait to see what...
I was surprised by how well TJ did last year but hope that Flynn can bring some heart back to the team.
I think I'll wait and see how the season unfolds before rolling up the Holmgren era posters.
