You just described user generated content on the internet as a whole. ;) I understand your frustration. Any one in any given profession hates hacks.

HAWKS NEXT OPTION IN THE DRAFT!!

The entire point of the Bleacher Report was to give amateur writers a blogging platform. Still, whether you view it as legitimate or not, that does not mean we cannot take some of its posts as topics for discussion.

    If I Had the $$$

Yeah a true publicly owned franchise. Not that facade the Packers have going on. Profits do not have to go back into the investors pockets. In fact, they should be reinvested in the business to make it grow. Apple, Google, etc. do not pay anything back to investors for stock. There are...

    If I Had the $$$

I agree that a big part of the reason is that it is easier to get 32 owners united. But beyond that, I still am not quite so sure. You assume that only fans would own the team. I am talking a true publicly owned entity. Depending on financial performance, you would attract for more people...

    If I Had the $$$

I'm not sure how the two are related. Why couldn't a publicly owned team move cities?

Seattle Seahawks to Follow an Old Pattern to Land Their New Quarterback?

I'll bring the beer. I brew enough of it... I just sold a Colt Python .357 and a Colt Police 32 (from 1912) and bought more brewing equipment. Ha. The remaining firearms are my Springfield XD-9 and Ruger Mark III target pistol.

    If I Had the $$$

How would it drive the prices down? The type of ownership should have little to nothing to do with franchise valuation. Is a privately owned business in any other industry worth more than a publicly owned counterpart? No. It is all about the financials.

    If I Had the $$$

Ballz. I didn't realize the NFL forbid it. I guess it makes sense, though, being that the sale of a team has to be approved.

Seattle Seahawks to Follow an Old Pattern to Land Their New Quarterback?

I don't think you are concerned about meeting anyone. I was just hoping, praying, etc. that you have something better to do with your time than to get in an actual fight over some typed words from the internet. Same goes with szat.

    If I Had the $$$

I would buy the Seahawks, then turn them into a publicly owned team like the Packers: http://packersowner.com/ Friggen rad.

    Pete Carroll: Then v. Week 13 2011

To what extent? Carroll, while not having the actual GM title, has as much personnel, if not more, power than Schneider. The thread is to grade Carroll overall, because unlike Holmgren, I doubt Carroll will stick around if he gets one of his roles yanked. So it is a package deal.

    Pete Carroll: Then v. Week 13 2011

I'll hop up to a 5. Find a QB and consistent play (week over week) and my rating will go higher.

    Pete Carroll: Then v. Week 13 2011

Week 13 Result: 31-14 win over Philadelphia. You have to provide two numbers. The first is how you felt about the Pete Carroll hire when it happened at the beginning of 2010. The second is how you feel about him this week after this last game (if you are listed below, you only have to provide...
