The Seahawks have just announced an official Press Release stating that Lendale White has been released. According to NFL source Jason La Canfora he did not fit in well with the Seahawks. No word on if that was about attitude or ability to play, but it's official White has been released.
According to ESPNs John Clayton Lendale White and team management have met and discussed his release from the Seahawks. The team has yet to confirm or release details. More to come as the story breaks.
As I've said before... When Matt Hasselbeck is healthy he's the best QB in the NFC West. It all starts up front though and if they can protect Matt than maybe we have something special.
An interesting move that I've heard nothing of, but if I was Seattle would look into would be Miami. Ricky has stated he wants to retire after the 2010 season and Ronnie Brown isn't signed past the 2010 season. He's familiar with Parcells and it could be a situation that might come up as...
Ex-Seahawk DT Norman Hand passed away today at 37. Hand spent 2003 with the Seahawks after being acquired by the Saints. He played in six games having one sack before finishing his career with the Giants in 2004. The cause of death has not been determined.
The fact that he showed talent in Dallas, but never had the support he needed from the coaching staff and if our line stayed healthy I thought he could do well for us. I was wrong in that, but I think the O-line hurt him a lot. I thought the confidence that Mora gave him would help him out, but...
He had been signed by Schnieder in Green Bay before landing in Detroit. It looks more like just a camp body, but who knows. Seattle has had success with undrafted guys. Just look at Mack Strong and role players like DD Lewis and others.
Kole Heckendorf a WR/KR was claimed off of waivers from the Lions. He was undrafted out of North Dakota State and before being a member of the Lions Practice Squad in 2009 was signed by John Schnieder and crew in Green Bay. He appears to be nothing more than a camp body with the chance to make...
From what I read he did good. I know Carroll said that Matt is the guy, but there will be competition for the starting job. I'm not saying Charlie will be successful, but I'm saying given his years in the NFL he will be more successful than Bradford. Bradford most likely will start right out of...
Thank you! As I've said before Leroy Hill is overrated! Don't get me wrong he's a great player, but his stats have always been helped by the presence of Lofa and JP (IMO). When offenses had to prepare for Seattle they focused on those two (both have made multiple trips to the Pro Bowl) and that...
Junior fell asleep in the clubhouse according to two unnamed teammates. This is a matter that should have stayed in the clubhouse. I can bet you these are young guys fighting for playing time with Jr.
I'll take a Whitehurst type of guy over a Bradford hyped guy any day of the week. Bradford is going to a team with no line at all. We have pieces and if they gel right could do well. Also the standards for a 1st-pick are higher than the standards a guy like Whitehurst have.
Dude, You Were A Seahawk? | The Pigskin Doctors
A site that took 5 successful players who spent some time (not a majority of their career with Seattle):
-Carl Eller
-Edge
-Franco Harris
-Jerry Rice
-Warren Moon (he's also one of their top 10 undrafted Free Agent signings)
It also...

Here's my story on Walter Jones it's also in my blog topic:
Rick Mirer contributed more to Seattle once he was traded than when he played for the Seahawks.
It was the Mirer trade to Chicago that landed the Seahawks the sixth overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft and with that pick...
Rick Mirer contributed more to Seattle once he was traded than when he played for the Seahawks.
It was the Mirer trade to Chicago that landed the Seahawks the sixth overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft and with that pick they selected an OT from Florida State University named Walter Jones...
