Give me a break. Someone pull up Hasselbeck's numbers from the Saints game earlier in the season.
Enough said.
And I'm going to have to disagree with this:
He missed a lot of wide open receivers. His pass to Martin on the first drive should have been a touchdown. But Whitehurst was first...
Anthony Davis OT was picked by the 9ers at number 11. And there are a lot of better players taken after him, even into the second round. I mean, we had the fourth pick in the draft in 2009 and we botched that. There are plenty of players to be had where we will be picking.
Holiday Bowl was...
That doesn't prove anything. And I don't think you can say he is or isn't at his full potential. Would you have said the same of Hasselbeck out of BC? I bet if he had never sync'd up with Holmgren, he wouldn't even be in the league right now. Put Locker with the right coaches in the right...

This is why Locker is nothing like JaMarcus Russell like some (*cough*94*cough*) like to say.
I wonder if he'll be a good NFL quarterback. I want him to be just because he is so likable.
Yeah you are guaranteed to have eight more players to choose from. But then it loops right back to the fact that none of those eight are guaranteed to be any good.
So your guarantees are a larger contract and eight additional players to choose from (who, like any other player in the draft...
Maybe, maybe not. You can't honestly say that. There are plenty of busts and plenty of great players taken at each of the two spots the Seahawks are likely to draft at. The only guarantee you have in drafting higher is that you'll pay more money to that pick.
I was very much on the fence with this one, but when it comes down to it, why would you root against your team making the playoffs? Makes no sense to me, regardless of how terrible the team is.
