According to the reports there is no word on if it's official or just a writers opinion with an article.
I will say this about the Peppers. I don't think he's worth the value he's asking for. I do think he would help our pass attack, but he's getting older. He has also stated he only wants to...
Ok I just got this report off of Profootballtalk.com that there are reports that Seattle could be making a big push for DE Julius Peppers. I will be waiting to see if we have a scheduled meeting with him and how true these reports are.
Some big names have been let go within the past hour:
Panthers QB Jake Delhomme
Bengals WR Lavernues Coles
Chargers DT/NT Jamal Williams
Jets CB Lito Sheppard
Redskins FB Rock Cartwright
Pats TE Chris Baker
Cardinals S Antrel Rolle
Redskins OG Randy Thomas
Lions CB Phillip Buchanon

Here's another Poll I have thought of heading into Free Agency.
Also a huge APOLOGY about the Free Agent Previews! My Microsoft Membership ran out Yesterday and I am unable to copy/paste the articles I wrote on Free Agency Previews and Seahawk Previews. I am extremely mad about this and...
Just over 9 hours until Free Agency is officially underway. Today the Seahawks tendered:
David Hawthorne- Exclusively.
Darryl Tapp- Original Pick tender (2nd Round)
Ben Obomanu- Original Pick (7th Round)
Rob Sims- Original Pick (4th Round)
Chris Spencer- Original Pick (1st Round)
I am honestly...
I'm trying to find out how to reset the voting for a new poll. So until then if you could vote by writing it down in the thread I will tally them up later today!
My vote is Chester Taylor. I would love to see Taylor and Forsett handling the job next year, but Taylor getting the starts.
Our first poll was:
What position do you think the Seahawks need to focus on the most?
-Offensive line (mainly LT) won with 9 votes.
Working on a new one now as we are 13 hours away from Free Agency starting.
Today Brandon Marshall was tendered a first-round tender officially ending speculation that he'll be a Seahawk in my book. If Seattle wants to improve the position which we need to you don't do it by "giving" a first-round selection for Marshall. We still can re-sign Nate Burleson and let Deion...
That did scare me too D, but I think OT is our biggest need right now and when that pick came he was the best available. Had I had the 6th pick we would have went OT and gotten someone else with less of an injury history.
Miles Austin I'm pretty sure can still be tendered a Restricted Free Agent. Therefore they will be able to match any offer a team offers that team and receive a draft pick as compensation. I don't think we will go after Miles Austin.
Lance Laury will not be tendered an Unrestricted Free Agency tender making him a restricted free agent. The Seahawks also did this with him last year and were able to sign him to a deal for cheaper terms. Expect that to be the case this year. His contributions on special teams is an impact for...
Not at all. I always was for using it instead of letting it go to waste. This way they have more time to work on a two-year deal and let's face it guys like Tapp and Burleson aren't worth the top 5 money values at their positions.
