That's not necessarily true either. Center of gravity depends on how your body is built. If you have more legs and less torso, your body will be different than a guy with less legs than torso.
Why would a 6'4" cornerback get juked out of his shoes and burned any more than a 5'9" cornerback? It has to do with your intelligence, how you control your body, and how fast you are. Shorter does not equate to better in any of these categories. Neither does taller.
I'm not sure how I can explain this any clearer. If you are paying millions to your top draft picks and they are warming the bench, that's a big problem. It's like paying $2,000 for a new TV only to find out the TV you paid $500 for works as good or better, but you can't take the $2,000 TV...
You are missing the point. Is Hawthorne a great story? Sure. But you have your "star" LB on IR sitting on the sidelines. Has Forsett done some good things? You bet. But don't you think it is a problem when your impact players on both sides of the ball are 7th rounders or undrafted and not...
The problem is guys like Forsett and Hawthorne shouldn't even be seeing the field. They are not number one guys. The fact that they are having an impact means your number ones are not. And that is a big problem.
Yeah, that passing game looked AMAZING.
What do you mean what do I want? Is this a serious question? How about more than 8 yards on 9 carries? Since when is Forsett a receiver?
Forsett got 130 yards against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. BFD. A hobbled Alexander could...
He took us to playoffs and a Super Bowl as a coach, not a GM.
Can you please quantify why you think he would make a good GM? Because so far no one has.
I have never seen anything that said Holmgren was against resigning Alexander. As for the Hutchinson debacle, it posted earlier a pretty objective and insightful piece on that: CLICK
As for Holmgren as GM, the more I read into it, the more I don't like it. Let me rephrase. The emotional side...
Steve Kelley is a d-bag.
Not even a full week later Kelley is saying Ruskell should be out and the 'Hawks should hire Holmgren (find Irish's earlier post in this thread where Kelley argues Ruskell should be given a contract extension). I don't think there is a person on this board that doesn't...

I like Steve Hutchinson. I don't like Ruskell. I wish Hutchinson was still here, but this article is fantastic and I think a pretty valid and accurate revisiting of the situation.
