Niners go out with a whimper

First of all, Russ isn't just a running quarterback. He's a pocket quarterback who can also make plays with his legs. He uses his legs to evade the rush and extend plays, a quality that only a handful of quarterbacks have. Maybe if your quarterback wasn't just a pocket quarterback, he wouldn't...

Would've rather seen us take Terrance Williams or Keenan Allen with that pick. Your 2nd round pick has to be a guy who's going to be on the field making his presence felt.

What a disappointment, would've thought the 62nd pick of the draft would've been heavily utilized in the rb rotation by this time in the season. Turbin in my opinion, doesn't strike any fear into anybody when steps out on the field.

    I told you so

Don't forget to credit the offensive line for the job they did today. They played well. We rushed for 182 yards. Not bad for missing back to back first rounders (Okung Carpenter) can't wait till we get them back.

I think it's time to give credit where credit is due. Russell played mistake free football today. When you have a good defense and a good run game you dont make it a track meet. Also were ignoring the fact that Arizona is a pretty damn good defensive football team, just ask Tom Brady.

    Russell to start game 3

Its pretty obvious who the starter should be. Everyone wanted to see how RW could do against a first string defense on the road to boot. Can't wait to see him on the field opening day when he has all his weapons at his disposal.
