Actual Fans! What a relief

Hi, I came over from Sportsline's Seattle site. This site has a lot of posters who seem to be on the same page as I am as far as the team goes. I'm pissed about Matt and Lofa. I don't care much for PC's moves.

I've been a fan since the early 80's. I haven't been to Qwest but went to a few Kingdome Games.

Personally, I'm not mad about Matt anymore. I doubt he would have made it out of the preseason without an injury and if he did we face a lot of good pass rushers this year (Harrison, Suggs, Tuck/Osi, Cole, Ware, Peppers, etc.) against a very young O-line. The defense looked fine without Lofa AND Hawthorne last week. Lofa has been TERRIBLE the last few years, honestly I'm glad he's gone. Carroll and Schneider have upgraded the talent on this team, but its all young/raw talent. Its the complete opposite of when Ruskell was here. Under Ruskell we had some developed talent, but no young developing players. Now that's pretty much all we have.

Like Bob said "Matt wouldn't have made it out of the pre-season." The Jackson signing was only made given the line's questions. Given a decent line Matt is better than Jackson, but with our line we had to go with a more mobile quarterback than Matt.

Welcome to the site! And we all went through the process of getting past Matt. Now, we are in the process of getting over our current situation.

I'd say a lot of us are in the process of hoping for Luck lol.

I'm not rooting for the team to lose, but I realize a really bad season is best long term.
