Happy Thanksgiving for sure. Big win for the home team today!!
How about that? Looking more and more like the Seahawks are weathering the pitfalls that SB champs face and are putting it together at the right time. They are starting to look like championship contenders again.
I still think there's a good chance this is one of those seasons when 10-6 won't be enough to get in, so "11-5 will keep us alive." So between the game in Philly next weekend and the game in AZ, they will probably have to win one of those two games to ensure that they make it. 10-6 still might be enough but they'd need some outside help with a 10-6 record.
Two weeks ago I had my doubts the Hawks could win either of those road games. But if the last two weeks is any indication, then absolutely they can. Not only did the defense play lights out but the offense was balanced for the first time in quite a while. When all that happens the Hawks are about as close to unbeatable as it gets.

The Eagles are legit SB contenders too and with LeSean McCoy finally getting it rolling the Eagles are really heating up. That game will probably be the toughest matchup of the season. But if the Hawks can go in there and take that game, they will once again be sitting at the top (in principle if not yet by record) and poised for another deep run. That game could conceivably have playoff seeding on the line too so there's a lot at stake. You gotta like what both Sherm and Turbin had to say after the game about the state of the team and how it's all coming together right now.

Go Hawks!!

Things are looking up for sure. Just have to keep it rolling for a few more games. If we can keep winning and building momentum into the playoffs, we are going o be very hard to beat. We've still got a tough road ahead just to get there, but if the D can keep up this level of play I think we will make it in. They definitely appear to have their confidence and swagger back.
