There's maybe only one Seahawk who is in the conversation as possibly the greatest player in NFL history to ever play his position, at least for a while and that's #45. From 1983 to around 1986 he hit a level that maybe no other SS in NFL history has ever reached. The person who many consider the best to ever play the position mainly because he had the longevity that Easley didn't was Ronnie Lott and he'd probably be the first to cast his vote for Easley.Steve Largent
