Definitely some of it. But they have songs on every album that are nothing short of epic. Ten was unique in the amount of songs that were incredible. Not many albums from any artist can claim that. What makes it additionally great was that Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, and Mike McCready recorded it without any vocals and Eddie Vedder was still able to take the music and run with it.

I would have given anything to be at Off Ramp (now El Corazon) on October 22, 1990. Too bad I was only 9...

My uncle shook Eddie's hand when he was crowd surfing... I think he said it was at the Moore theater. It was that famous footage of him climbing way up above the stage and jumping in the crowd.

Betterman was and always will be my favorite PJ song...

Love how the song goes from a slow ballard to a fast paced epic....
