Actually, not really. When talking about this current regime, it doesnt matter when you were drafted or if you were drafted at all. This front office does not adhere to conventional wisdom - thats how how your boy Wilson got the starting job in the first place.

If you get annoyed by overly religious preachy guys who can't play QB you hate god? Ok dude... And there are almost NO simillarities between Tebow and Wilson. Wilson is actually a threat to complete a pass.

Tebow throws ducks, can't read defenses, has a long delivery, and doesn't have the accuracy to make tough passes, or even easy passes sometimes. Wilson throws spirals, he's accurate, he has a quick release, and he makes good reads. By season's end its very possible Wilson has a division title and a playoff victory... Unless this is Flynn fanboy worlld, of course if it was Wilson wouldn't be starting in the first place.

Very well spoken, now here comes the "but" statement(s)...
Just how many first year quarterbacks are good in their rookie year? How many of those are third rounders? How tall was Dan Marino (6'4'') Sure this kid looks more talented and ready than Dan McGwire/ Kelly Stouffer/Stan Gelbaugh combined, and he's tall too (5'9'' not rounding up) ain't denying any of that, but the history of the NFL quarterbacking position is siding against R.Wilson this early in his career 99.999% of the time.

We're all inclined to like the kid, so I don't understand why PC is willing to trash him this way, unless the coach just wants to open RW's eyes a little bit to the NFL grinder & therefore teach him something early on. Yet, that's not what PC said his motives were for the decision to put him out there as the immediate starter this season. Guess I'm not sold on the PC thing with his qb-miss-management tendencies to date.

I'm curious as to why you & others believe this is such a good move?
(and i'll keep my smart ass opinion about flynn not wanting the job in these uniforms to myself)
