I'd like to know where you guys are standing. I was really hoping SF would keep the illusion of Alex Smith alive but it looks like they had a moment of clarity and may be more complete than ever. They have a hell of a defense and some good RB prospects. Can Seattle compete and challenge them?

The team Pete Carroll has put together while impressive seems to be falling short, sorry for the pun RW. It is my opinion that we have to put more points on the board to compete. What do you think has to happen for us to reach the next level? How many seasons should PC be granted?

We need to play better defense on the road. We've been scoring enough points to win.

16, 27, 14, 13, 16, 24, 6, 24, 30, 28

We had 1 game this season with 30 points. With the RB's it would be easy to hold off teams after building a lead.

Bob you've been a fan for a long time. We used to put up multiple 40+ games every season.

We need to be a complete team now, put all the pieces together, like Atl did finally.
We have been aggregiously inconsistant on both sides of the ball.

That said, SF is out of reach. They are elite team that can probably even beat us at the clink.

We're going to Chicago with a big ass chip on our shoulder !

Go Hawks

I think RW is going to be our Alex Smith for quite a few years. Yeah, we do have other problems but unless we have a QB that can produce points, we are destined to be average on offense.

Just how big do you think that chip is? Maybe RW can tie it to his shoes.

Ida, I really do want the Hawks to destroy the Bears but (as you may have guessed) I have a hard time overlooking reality and obvious short comings.

The passing game is still developing. Unlike those teams, the defense is the strength of this team (or at least its supposed to be). We shouldn't have to put up 30 to win. No way this loss is on Russell, he had a great game.

Okay we get it, you have a napoleans complex, but doesnt mean russell wilson cant rise ABOVE the critism and excell. His progression and tredectory has way exceeded everyones expection so far...

GO HAWKS!

Not exactly. Since the year 2000, it was only done in 2005 and 2007.

Perhaps you are so disillusioned with this team because you have over-romanticized memories of past teams.

Perhaps we figured out how to win and what we currently have isn't going to cut it?

The obvious need is points and the obvious reason, production.

Best player on the Seahawks, the 12th man.

Were not mentally tough enough to win , were weak in the heart of our defense and predictable in play calling . I think talent wise we got the goods but maybe we need to start looking higher up the food chain. Its was clear in the Miami game we wanted to run up the middle and that we were trying to work the edges in the passing game , Miami blew that up period . Where were the adjustments ? The few times Lynch got to the outside he was productive! HELLO stop running the ball up the middle and take the run game to the outside. Maybe we need to get a speed guy at RB to bounce it outside and soften up the middle... I don't know . I just see other teams making adjustments that work on us and then we don't change our plan. How many time are you going to run Lynch into a wall before you decide its to hard

RW is working his ass off, its likely their are going to be some tough times ahead and having this guy in the locker room as a leader of this young team will be big . I don't hold out much hope if we do in fact lose the DB's , but guys have to step up and play and with 3 of the last 4 at home we could still make some noise

21 points should be enough to win when you have a top 5 defense.

True, but they aren't playing like a top 5 defense. I remember at one point this season we hadn't given up a TD in some 2+ games. Now we give up 24 points to a Ryan Tannehill lead Dolphins team. I think Tannehill had thrown 1 TD and like 6 picks the previous 2 games coming into this game.

That is pathetic defense. Seahawks got one sack, and QB hit total on Sunday (I think the Earl Thomas penalty would’ve counted as a QB hit, but I believe the penalty negates the stat).

"The Seahawks are allowing 155 yards rushing per game over the past five after allowing 70 per game over their first six. (Sando)"

Not top 5. Not elite.

I'm starting to get excited for the draft since the playoff run/SB dream is just about dead.

Which reminds me, where has Allen Branch been? That BMF plugged up that middle with MBane, RED, now they got Jason Jones and McDonald, jones good on pass downs but Mcdonald I dont see him getting anything done.
Im going to check his stats...

"Yesterday, the Dolphins, when they threw to 'wide' receivers (split out wide, vs Sherm or Browner) were 2 of 4 for 30 yards. And a 35 passer rating"

"They go 8 for 8 for 131 yards, 119 passer rating when throwing to the slot"

- Hugh Millen.

That is a huge discrepency.

I saw Branch out there a few times. I am seeing McDonald a lot more. I don't know if Branch isn't a 100% or what, but I don't like McDonald in there.
