I'm probably more on board with that than anything else.
I don't see it as hype up WWF shit. Like I said. I see it playing through the whistle. Play to win the game. I guess if I am that kind of fan, that doesn't want a team packing it in at the end, so be it.
And it seems like most that I read about support that...
That's fine. And who cares of someone runs up the score? This whole "frat" thing is stupid. You play to win the game. Period. No one should give a shit about some "unwritten" or "gentlemen's" rule.
Any defensive ex-player I have heard sides with Schiano. Golic said they did it when he was with Philly. And Wyman said he saw no problem at all with it. It is a live play. And the offense should have recognized that the D was coming.
Plus, I think I am for bucking convention anyways. Nothing...
I didn't really see anything too wrong with it. I get that it goes against convention, but the Bucs had as much right to try and get the ball to try for a win as the Giants did to try and preserve the win.
For anyone who hasn't seen the video, here it is:

I was just curious as to what everyone's take on what the Bucs did is.
I'm too young to objectively speak about any of the 1980s defenses, although they were pretty good from what I read. But right now, I think maybe the 1992 defense is tops on my list. Cortez Kennedy, Eugene Robinson, Rufus Porter, Dave Wyman, Robert Blackmon, Michael Sinclair. Good team...
I have always wanted to try a cider. It's catching on big over here. The best beer bar in Seattle is about a mile from my house and they just got done with a "cider week."
I'm lazy. I eat whatever I can find. I spend my time either brewing or finding a good beer (which really is not hard in Seattle). Yesterday was an Elysian Split Shot Espresso Milk Stout and my own wheat beer.
I would love to the Wilson v. Flynn talk subside until there is really something to talk about. There wasn't last week and there isn't this week.
I think we should be happier about a Seahawks win than being right or wrong about something none of us really know anything about.
