Um. I can throw a ball 40 yards. It isn't that far. (My accuracy is probably terrible, but still.)
I'm not going to disagree with taking a lineman, though.
This also has the chance to create a situation more like punts. High kicks to try and get them inside the 20. But the coverage team is 5 yards closer giving the returner less time to react creating just as dangerous of a situation as before.
We'll see what happens, I guess.
They are actually paid to work out beyond their normal salary, too:

Too bad working out cannot cure false starts and holding, *cough*Stacey Andrews*cough*.
Hopefully this will give us SOMETHING to talk about:

Still. I have to pay money and find additional time out of my day to work out and go to the gym. And I surely don't get to sit around and watch film of a game I love.
It's part of their job. I'm not feeling sorry for them.

Report: NFLPA* tells incoming players to boycott draft | ProFootballTalk
This is hitting below the belt, in my opinion. The draft is not an owners v. players thing. It is a ceremony for college players to enter the NFL. It is for them and their families to celebrate and for the...
One thing I think, is that even though DeMaurice Smith gets the brunt of the hatred, it really is the players. They appointed him and it is their voice being heard through him. You cannot hate one without the other.
Apparently you give a shit or you would let it go. Did you not see the link I posted in which I have already proved it?
I agree with others' assessment of Pete Carroll QBs. Recruiting a high school QB is very different than evaluating at the pro level.
So I do not feel very comfortable...
The biggest issue is money. Nothing more, nothing less. The owners signed a crappy extension to the CBA in 2006 in which the players got more of the revenue for salaries. The owners now want to go back to pre-2006 levels.

I am not calling you a liar, nor would I infer it. Just that you are wrong in trying to link the 4th Amendment to the protection of some test scores.
And I also wondered why you thought Pete...
It was useful for people who want the truth and not some unfounded bs about the 4th Amendment and privacy rights that don't exist.
Cute signature. Made you feel good about yourself?
