Thanks for the link, but I've never heard of that site and wouldn't trust it for information. Not saying it won't happen, but it's not one site I would trust. Trust me I would love Spencer to be traded with a 2nd-round pick instead of a first-round, but I don't think it would happen. They do...
I like the move. He's more of a guard than a tackle, but can play both positions so we still could go tackle at 6. He's familiar with Alex Gibbs's zone-blocking scheme so he can work with the young guys like Unger, while working with the more experienced Sean Locklear. Up until his knee injury...
Houston Texans free agent OG Chester Pitts is in Seattle today and tomorrow making a free agent visit. He played under Alex Gibbs when Gibbs coached the Texans OL and is familiar with his zone-blocking scheme. Pitts was selected in the second-round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Texans out of San...
The Seahawks were awarded a 7th-round selection in the compensation for their losses last year during Free Agency. They lost four players, while signing three giving them one pick. The pick will be pick 245 overall in the seventh-round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
I don't see this deal being made for a 3rd-round pick. We just traded to San Diego our third-rounder in 2011 and with his age he's not worth a 3rd-round pick. I could see a 4th-round pick and possibly a compensation pick in 2011, but I don't think Seattle is trying to get older. Yes he would be...
Lance Laury is officially a New York Jet today. The former Seahawks Special Teams Captain signed with them after meeting with them today and yesterday. Laury was signed as an undrafted free agent by Seattle in 2006 out of South Carolina. The past two-years he was the Seahawks Special Teams...
In some leagues I picked UW, but others I went Big East and well that's been a bad decision on my part today. Hopefully that's different come tomorrow LOL!
Thanks for the confidence, but he still needs a line to be successful. Any QB needs that. Just ask Hasselbeck when he was successful why he was. I'm sure he'll tell you the success of Walter Jones and Hutch obviously helped him a lot. I think if we can bolster the O-line then I'm not as worried...
Driving Drunk is a decision mature men and women shouldn't make. My father's a retired cop and he's always advised me if I've had one drink even if it's just one to turn the keys to someone else. It's responsible and could save someone elses life including yourself. I don't think he was truly...
Then you're just going back to the early 90s. Trade for Kelly Stouffer, draft Rick Mirer and Dan McGuire. I just want a healthy powerful OL. If we can get that then I have no problem with Whitehurst, but given no OL right now and what we gave up. I'm not for this deal at all. Like Mike Sando...
Another reason I think he's going to be a starter. If you want him to learn your system you give him more than 2 years on his contract. This way if he doesn't pan out after two-years your done with him.
His father played in the NFL for the Packers (David) among his stats:
28 TDs and 51 INTs.
Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be like him. Thought that was interesting. Maybe just to me :(
