Absolutely! Logical and fair.
Speaking of music, for our wedding reception, my wife and I used the intro to (the real) Monday Night Football. I wrote some cheesy pun-filled copy for the DJ to read while we came running out. Love that music!

Also got to work with one of the...
Agree completely about Krieg, not about Sabol. The Dad should not be in there either unless he played or coached. Is Cosell in? How about the hot macromastic chick from MNF? Dennis Miller 'cause he's funny? How about the CEO of Riddell or Wilson? Can't play without a ball or helmet. What about...
A Staley logo? Hmmm...Maybe a pic of an old Asian guy ("Stale Lee")? I know, completely inappropriate. My apologies.
Thanks for the bg on the "Packer" thing. I may have heard that decades ago but completely forgot and was curious again!
Along those lines, I just saw a Tiki Barber interview...
That figures. Tho it always makes me a bit suspicious with celebs. Two sides and all that. If it were Charlie Sheen, I'd tend to believe it more.
Okay, we're not the only ones...Have you seen this yet? Brilliant satire: Ben one win away from being a good person.
Sadly, it's much too true these days (can you say "Vick"?)
BTW, whatever became of the charges? Did either go to trial?
Agreed. But the whole system seems dumb. Can't they just sign all three? Or are they obligated to seek other offers? If so, do we get the chance to match, or do we have to best them by a certain percentage?
I don't know why some guy making four million dollars a year would go to a crappy team...
I wonder how many seedy guys will be walking outside the stadium gameday morning with hand-scrawled cardboard signs that say "Need Tickets"...lol
:slow_en:
I guess we've watched different interviews! lol
He's nothing like Hass. Hass has a great sense of humor. He's been humbled many times since his "we're gonna win" debacle--and has since displayed humility. Rogers always seemed to think he was as good or better than Favre, rather than learn...
I don't care if he's awesome or not (so are Roethelsbooger and Brady but why should I like them?); arrogance is annoying and intolerable. The problem with being arrogant is that there's ALWAYS someone better who's not. The guys who have earned the right to be dicks are rarely so.
But as...
I forgot these teams just played each other last year with pretty much the same personnel (it's on NFL Replay)...Funny how the SB is often just a replay of a regular season game.
(I also realized we've played Tampa two years straight...WTF?)
I cannot believe the Jets had such a comeback; I turned it off when it was 24 to 10 and they missed the 4th and goal. (It showed that we could have come back as well.) The irony is that the Jets' D is what ultimately let them down. I hate Ryan but hate Pittsburgh pretty much more than any other...
Yes, we all know that; the debate was whether or not the name was influenced by/stolen from the old Miami team. I agree with 94 that because it's so obscure (only one season) as well as old, it's probably a coincidence unlike the Titans which he mentioned.
Love 94's idea for the logo for The...
Given the Miami team was back in the 40s and our Hawks are from the 70s, I don't think the name was ripped off. It's a logical name for a coastal team and not a rare type of bird. Duplicate names are independently generated all the time--look at bands, movies, cartoon & comic characters too...
WOW, what a tale! Sounds like it would make a very interesting and entertaining local doc show!
Guess I'm fan "E"--long-time out-of-state casual fan who roots for the team despite never attending and rarely seeing them on TV (Detroit is all Big Ten). I bought a Huskies shirt on my first trip to...
