You know... I see some similarities in this receiving corps. to our '05 Wide outs.

Our unimpressive #1 guy (D-Jack and Branch, but I'd rather have Branch)
MAYBE Engram in the slot.
and now the grizzled veteran with a hard to spell last name (Jurevicius and Houshmanzadeh and again I'd rather have our current guy)

Plus we have a more reliable TE and more depth and WR... I didn't even mention Nate and his return skills(along with what Wilson did last year)... I think our needs have now significantly swung to our secondary and offensive line.

Re: I say still take anybody but Crabtree !!!!

No love for wasting the 4th pick on a WR. With 4 OT that can go in the top 10 and a DT I'd trade down 4 spots pick up another 1st day pick and still get the OT. IF they think the DT is their 1 then take him. But no way in hell am I drafting a broken WR who isn't as big as people thought AND he is not that fast. So if he isn't BIG and isn't FAST he should not be the 4th pick. Let someone else take the chance.

I still think we need to give up on Spencer and get a guy like Jason Brown and Grove (I know they signed), but I wish we had made a run at them. Spencer is injury prone and for all I car was a waste of a pick. Just like taking Tyler Schmitt in the 6th round of the Draft!

With all the problems we have had a long snapper, it wasn't a bad idea to draft a guy who is a specialist at it. ;)

Your kidding right? Schmidt is a runaway train lead blocker, can catch in the option... I see him making an impact this year in ST and as back up to Weaver, possibly a starter.

The Seahawks will not pick Crabtree and with the money that he would want will put to much in one area. I think they will get an O-lineman

The number 4 pick is going to take about the same amount of money no matter what position they play.
