Now you sound like a 9er fan. Please, explain the relevance of past Championships that happened over decade ago and how they influence this post season. Right, they don't.. #learntousehashtags
Of course they don't influence the post season. But the relevance? Come on.

And
Now now now. Let's not go talking about Superbowl victories. It's a sore point with them. We don't want to rub it in their faces that they have never won a Lombardi. That would be really bad form. And you never know, they just might win one this year, they have their trophy case all ready.

Please explain any relevance that it has not only on the post season, but the regular season or any seasons moving forward.

Yes strident they are, so much so you would think that trophy case would have at least one trophy. I do think this is their year though. Seahawks vs. 49ers would be epic.

At least one won't be talking very soon. Well, unless it's to say "you're gonna lose in the Super Bowl". LOL

Even his name longs for the days of old (16, 8, 80)...not one recent player in the last decade. Wait...Terrell Owens maybe? He's the quintessential Whiner. All mouth...

Love the crickets when I ask for any real football talk from you two trolls...

Real football talk from you? You completely discount the effect of a 3rd string QB (in his first start for Bradford) getting a yard from beating your team while having a 16 passer rating. Rams had to do it on the ground and did for 200 yards nearly winning on the final play of the game. You discount it entirely yet claim you want "real football talk"!

Did that 3rd string QB have a freaking NFL contract on an NFL Team?

Last year our rookie QB played an entire season?

Your team should have thought about possibly starting a 3rd string QB at some point...freaking Foley wasn't a starter and look how well he did.

Excuses excuses.

None, of course. (At least at this point, with new owners / management.)

Hey, T.O. was an awesome WR, he just had mouth issues. Seems like he's solved them, now that he's selling burgers for Carls Jr.

I'm detecting more sour grapes here. We had the two GOATS on our team at the same time. I don't think you can really criticize me for dwelling in the past, when you have no comparable past to dwell in, and thus it's impossible to say what you would do if you did in fact have a comparable history.

But if you really want to talk about the present, well all I have to say is that the current NFC Champs will be returning to the Superbowl this year.

Same thing Kraporpick will be doing in 5 years.
Un huh. Long term predictions like that are really something. That and $5 will get you a cup of coffee at any of thousands of Starbucks in your neighborhood.

If you only measure your past by the trophies your team won, I wonder if you'd be such a fan without them? Seahawk fans are TRUE FANS...We didn't get gifted a wining team and then signed up. We suffer and still support the team. It's easy to support the Whiners, they are like shopping at the GAP for a team. I'd rather be partnered with real fans than the Whiner unfaithful who live in the past.

I lived in the Bay Area up until 95. Candlestick was an empty piece of crap before Joe Montana came along. That franchise had a 12 year run, but before that they were a joke in the NFL and the Bay Area and had very few fans. I know how faithful whiner fans are...I knew very few of them before 81. You couldn't find a 49er hat during the 70's and early 80's.

You probably signed up long after the Lombardi was handed out so welcome to the bandwagon and enjoy your past gifted success.

You're proving my point. Klemens isn't the reason we almost lost. The reason we almost lost was because of your defense and our inept offensive line (starting a LG at LT, a back-up LG at Center and a rookie 7th round pick at RT) against a couple of elite pass rushers and an upper tear front 7. Those aren't excuse, those are legitamite reasons for our offensive struggle. With our offensive line unit we couldn't get any push in the run and couldn't keep Wilson upright.

Despite all of that. Despite Stacey rushing for 130+, despite us needing a big play on offense and a last second goal line stand on defense, we still won. That's what seperates a 13-3 Championship caliber, #1 seed in the NFC team and a 7-9, last place in the NFC West team.

Hey, I remained loyal through the Erickson, Nolan, Singletary years, so that should at least qualify me for membership in the "I was a fan even when my team sucked" fanclub.

Wow...what loyalty...long after you had your trophies to lean on. What a trooper.

Must feel wonderful relying on the past. It's going to be all you have when February comes peaches.

You were a fan and your team still does suck...get it right.

Lol, seriously?

We've been in the playoffs the last three seasons, winning 13, 11, and 12 games. We are the reigning NFC Champs. We just knocked off Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in GB, in January. (And don't give me that 8 win crap, when Rodgers was out most of the season).

We are about to advance to NFC Championship game for the third time in a row, where we will send either you or the Saints packing.

But my team sucks?
