Sign me up for Kuechly, this kid's the real deal. There's no doubt in my mind he's going to be very good in the NFL. I am praying we draft him or Coples. Tannenhill will be gone to Miami by the time our pick comes around. Another scenario I would love is trade down and draft DeCastro and gain another pick. I too like Hightower a lot, he hits hard and seems like a player with high work ethic and plays with a sense of urgency, and he comes from the SEC, they're built to win.

I think its very possible someone tries to trade up in front of Miami to snag Tannehill. Jacksonville is right in front of Miami and is looking to trade down. Maybe Kansas City, I think that's a great fit for Tannehill.

This is very possible, I also see Cleveland or Denver as canidates to move up. Though the draft value chart changes drastically from 7 to 12. Teams may not move that high but be temped if he continues to drop.

I saw waltermock i think had us getting polk in the 3rd. I would okay with this, I think polk is a 3 down back with all the tools, can pound the rock, block, and catch.

I don't know much about Kuechley. But if its possible, I'd prefer to trade down and get a couple picks and be able to get Hightower and Brown.

I think the top of the draft will be crazy , but we need to take the best player on the board at 12 and get the needs with the rest of our picks , so far its worked put pretty good .

A Matt Flynn lover wanting proof of someone's ability to play ?????? That's freaking funny

Hey, we've seen Matt Flynn start two games in the NFL, both of which he did well in. Almost won the NE game, he kept them in that game, GB defense just couldnt stop Tommy and the boys. He flat out rocked in the Lions game. I've brought up Matt Flynn way before the Lions game and waaaayy before any of the hype he's gotten in the media.

Kuechly.... who? 99.9% of the casual fans in the country hadn't heard of the guy up until a two months ago. Now all of a sudden, he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I read all the hype, got excited, and figured I'd watch some of his film (YouTube). I was surprised to see how poorly he covered.. errr didn't in the Clemson game. Did not see him make a single play in coverage. Almost reminded me of how Kelli Jennings played, almost there, but could never make a play on the ball. He looked like a good tackler, sheds blocks well, and had a nose for the ball carrier.

Now people like 12MF are coming out of the wood work proclaiming him to be the next Dick Butkus, and saying "there is no doubt in their mind" that he will be great in the NFL... and I just wanted to know based on what. I wont lie, I've never watched a single BC game and am only basing my opinion off of what I've seen on YouTube, high and lowlights.

And I've NEVER proclaimed Flynn to be a future HOF QB in the NFL.... simply saying he's an upgrade over TJack, and the best realistic option for the Hawks this year. I am however hopeful that he can develop into something great, based on what little I've seen.

So don't be a douche, just to be a douche Ida. Even if it comes as natural to you as breathing ; )

Hightower seems to be the better fit for this defense. That's why I really hope there's a player like Floyd or Tannehill or maybe even Richardson there for us that another team will want to trade up for.

So your hopeful that Flynn works out but 12MF can't be hopeful that Kuechly works out ? That's why I'm laughing not being a douche at all .

Hoping Flynn works out and having "no doubt" that Kuechly will be a great LB in the NFL.

If you don't see the difference, will then good luck in life.

Dude, you would really take a Hightower trade deal over Richardson ?

Elite Players in this Draft

Luck
RG3
Richardson
Kalil
Claiborne
and maybe Blackmon in that order and you wouldn't take him ? I understand the whole getting more picks thing, but we would be set at RB for 10 years, have the best back field in the game. This is the best back in the draft and he's there at 12 ......really ?

I don't think its going to happen because I think that a team moves up to get him or takes him in the top 6-7 picks

" No doubt in HIS mind" , or in other words in his opinion. I think its well understood by most that its all speculation at this point anyway.

Yes, because we could get multiple players out of that trade. Good ones too, Zach Brown has all the potential in the world. He's an outside backer that runs better than some corners. Adams/Martin maybe even Decastro, Andre Branch, Nick Perry, Vinny Curry.

We could end up with 3 of those guys.

Having no doubt about something and being hopefully about something are completely different. Done beating the dead horse.

Draft Richardson, or trade down... either way you're a winner!!

You could make a great case for both. On one hand, you draft a guy that has potential to be a great back in this league. He's a physical dude, 5'9" and almost 230lbs, the guy could be a Michael Turner type of bruiser. Also, if Marshawn stays healthy for at least 3 more years, Richardson is being used sparingly and would barely have any miles on him when his time to shine finally comes. Can you imagine being a defensive coordinator, trying to game plan for those two?

There is a downside. You draft a guy 12th overall, and he may sit on the bench for 3 years. You aren't getting full value the first few years. Usually a top 15 pick is a day one starter.

On the other hand, you can trade down and pick up a few extra picks. You could get 2 or 3 potential starters for the cost of one pick. You could address DE, LB and even OG..... The problem with picking later in the first/early second, is its a lot more hit and miss with those guys. You could draft a guy at 27, who could easily play like he shouldve been picked in the 5th and vice versa. However, a Hightower, Perry and DeCastro combo for passing on Richardson would not be too bad.

At the end of the day, both scenarios are HIGHLY unlikely. Richardson should go top 10, and I really don't see anyone trading up to 12 to take him. If someone really wants him bad enough to trade up, they will trade up into the top 10 and not risk losing out on him.

Plus, this is Pete Carroll and John Schneider, the only sure thing is they will draft SOMEONE in this years Draft.....
